Croatian SS German Helmet?

I don't like it. Why is the helmet paint so fresh looking yet the decals are chipped, cracked and faded? The croation decal looks suspiciously like the 'aged' fakes you can buy on ebay for $5.

It might help us even more if we knew how much is being asked for this helmet, if its fake then there are two things to consider , the asking price, if too low, will help determine its originality, also if the price reflects the rarity of this type of helmet, but bearing in mind that there are serious doubts as to being genuine, it could be a deliberate attempt to fool the uninformed

The price is not very high, their assessment of the helmet is 350-400 euro

If thats what they are quoting, id be walking away in fact id be running, no way could a reasonably informed seller quote such a low price on what is supposed to be a genuine Croatian SS helmet

for sale or exchange for order from the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, or good German helmet from WW1 or WW2

99% of foreign volunteer ss helmets are fakes.
If you see one for sale the chances of it being fake are good.
The ones posted are fakes.
