Time to come clean gents. Dougs right, i'm not that old, I'm actually 40. It started as a joke sometime ago and I had no idea it would go this far. I got a kick out of peoples reaction, and it was wrong. Some members here like Doug, and other friends of mine like to tease me about my SS fez and its why I used the photo. If i'm ever blessed I could get to live to be 87. I also would like to apologize to Peter for hijacking his thread as well. I didn't realize and I got carried away. Hope all is good, happy holidays everyone.

Hi Peter,

If I were you I would ship this helmet to Doug for an in hand inspection. You never know, it may turn out to be a good one. Just a thought.

Hi samir.
Yes I would like to send it to Doug if he would like to have a look over it for me.
I have very little experience with ground dug helmets.
My gut feeling that it is real.
If you still are reading this thread Doug I would like to send it to you if possible for you to have a look over it.
I'll post a few more pics now in better light to see if it is of any help.

Hi Peter,

Don't worry about the helmet. Doug is one of the good guys. Even if the helmet turns out bad you will still gain some knowledge. Good luck & Happy Holidays my friend. =)
