I hope you got a money back guarantee.
Look at the abrasions on the decals, clearly man made.
Fake liner, fake decals, fake chinstrap, fake personalization.

So you think the helmet itself is not original either? I found an ET 6 something inside. I assumed the inside and the decalls were fake. I paid €200,- for the helmet. Hope I did not get screwed over too much...

The shell looks original, but now you have to remove the liner, chinstrap, decals to make it any semblance of something collectible. You can buy an M42 shell with no liner for less and now you have all this work to do.

But you were told before you parted with your Euro's so.....

I agree with all the other comments, especially the liner and decals , Theyve been artifically aged and not very well either, the liner has no wear to the edges and i would think has been dyed with a pigment of some sorts, The decals have scratching to them for no apparent reasons yet no surrounding damage to the helmet.

    Hello Michiel,

Do you mean there were never helmets with the "Wolfs angel" in use by Dutch collaborators? Ever? Not by the SS, not the WA, not the NSB, nor the Landwacht?

    Cheers,
    Emile

So is anything German real ? or is it all fake? Seems to me that everyone quickly assumes everything as fake..The Germans had a very diverse uniforms and helmets some private purchuse some home made ..I just saying i have seen stuff in my life that real but i have posted it eleswhere an been told its a fake! Even when my grandfather brought it back! Give the guy a break if he likes the helmet let him buy it and love it! dont rain on his parade!

The Wolfhook decal was used by the WA and the Dutch units of the NSKK. I have seen period photos of these in use.

    Cheers, Ade.
