That is the black M34 SS helmet that eMedals was selling - after - I had conclusively proven to the former owner it was one of those top Italian fakes. At the time they were thought to be real, but USB analysis revealed a strange series of "fingerprints" and the exact same party and runic decals were found on a postwar black fire helmet masquerading as an SS. An honest mistake, USB magnification has revealed much and this was one of them, the hobby is better armed today than it ever has been against fakers with the likes of top reference books of Kelly's and collector based research.by KradSpam
