It's nice to live in the lucky country ... but not so lucky if you want to find the stuff yourself!
The other thought I have had is that I wonder how much of the "run of the mill" items like in the 2nd photo ( sorry relic equipment collectors ) ends up at the scrap metal merchant and how much ends up on the collectors market. After all, diggers need to eat like all of us and maybe much is sold off in an attempt to satisfy our "lust for rust" ?

Dan i can tell you for certain that most of the items in the second photo get weighed in as scrap !!
