Even the liner must be from 43-44 period with anodized springs on it, and Feel the helmet is a fresh repaint

Even from that pictures it' s not a good decal, mid war helmet with an faked other side, where a spots from a " removed" nsdap decal, liner mismatchesd helmet by condition, Norvegian repainted chinstrap, cleaned from brown paint
Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

It's a fake champagne (NS) decal on what looks like a postwar repaint. Strap is dyed. Liner - mmmmm...doubt it's from this lid.

Spree Militaria has some other bad SS lids on it from what I've seen as well.

Proof it's real? I would love to hear it.

    Mad easy fake to spot!

When I first read the thread title, without even looking at the pics, I knew it was bad.

These SE SS lids are probably the rarest out of the M35, M40 and M42 shells. I only know of two true examples that exist, but there maybe more, not sure. The decal itself is a poor excuse for a fake SS decal. Thumbs down
