It looks like paint more than a decal. But I do agree that they are garbage.
Carpet looks a bit riffy too.....

Hi, you've never seen anything like them for a good reason! Even the most deranged Nazi fruit case would not have "plonked" this lid on his brainless noddle. Leon.
I am hoping to get better pics of the 3 helmets today to see if they are otherwise OK. The price is right. Many thanks for confirming my suspicions.
