I don't know if this is a similar case, but we once sold a WW2 para smock and the customer asked to return it for a refund. We then had a box delivered, which we signed for, that contained a modern shirt. We had no idea where it had come from or why. He then asked for his money back from his credit card company, supplying proof that we had signed for his parcel.
We contacted the Irish postal service (where it was posted, though the chap was in Scotland). They confirmed that at the postage price on the parcel it would weigh below a certain weight. Obviously it was far lighter than a para smock. We supplied proof of weights of a smock to his card company and they rejected his claim as it could never have contained a smock.
