I always thought that hkp M42s only come with Champagne decals until I saw a hkp64 M42 with 2nd pattern "ET" decal from a well-reputed seller. Is that possible? Please forgive my English...it's not my first language.

Any pics or link to the seller?
Link please.
He's local and his website is Livyers - Antique Shop St.Johns. It doesn't have photos of the helmet but I'll ask him if I can take some tomorrow.
Take the pics of the decal head on, no flash glare and in focus. Also pics of the entire helmet including interior, maker and lot number. Thanks
Doug
Hello & welcome to the forum!
I agree with the rest, pics are essential in making a good evaluation as these items are heavily and nicely faked. Goodluck & looking forward to seeing some photos.

Will do. So, it's possible that hkp helmets have ET decals too?
I honestly couldn't answer that. Best to ask Doug. I only known them to have NS type pattern decals and an HKP M42 with an SS decal in general is rare.
Just got off the phone with the seller...he said that he bought it from the MAX show last year and the lot # is 3409.
I did some research and it turns out there were hkp64s with same numbers, 3409. I have a feeling that it's fake.
