M-35 DD ss Helmet

This I understand sold for over $19,000 including auction fees, bubbling and delaminating decal and all. Insane...but when I first saw this I thought it might fetch upwards of 17, Q 66 SS M35s helmets are among the most sought after. But still, that's a huge gamble considering the decal condition.

For that kind of cash, it would indeed be best kept 'under glass'.........!

That is crazy considering the SS lids that are being sold in Becks Militaria site as Big Ned pointed out, but im not too sure on those ones

The NS M42 looks bad on that site, not holding much hope for the M35.

I like it, but would save my money for something better.I know m35's are rarer but I prefer the look of the m40 and m42's.
