I know very little about SS decals. I have yet to see a genuine one in the flesh.. I am following this thread because its a very good way to learn. I wish this helmet was the real deal, but if you are having doubts....

hi there and thanks . Yes its a beautiful helmet and i think there arent many left of these . For me its also a way of learning and shearing info. I have no doubts for this helmet . I wrote that didn't i ?

The helmet handschar decal is not unknow . Have seen the same decal in a book but dont remember if there was an ss or a wehrmacht decal on the other side .

A Croatian decal of this pattern is shown on page 268 of Radovic's helmet book, vol 1. However is on an M42 helmet with the the Croatian decal on the left and a Heer decal placed very unusually on the right.

Thanks, but this is the straight sided decal and not the "fancy" one like on FLF SS helmet.
