I remember this from Kelly's site. Can you take a closeup of the remnant of the party decal? I am curious how the rest of the decal was removed or if it was never put on in the first place. Congrats on a blackie, once you go black you can never go back!

If I remember rightly from Kelly's page, the red field was overpainted in black. Is this unique Doug or can it be attributed to a particular unit etc? I was quite curious when I first saw it.

Ive never seen it done before and cannot recall period pictures although I am sure there is something out there somewhere.
