OK.....wow a lot happened since the many hours that I visited. Thanks Adrian for posting the photos, Ive had a very busy day at work, 12 hours and still going so had not time to post the photos I was emailed of the helmet.
Anyway, enough about the BS, lets move forward.
I am sorry to say both decals are postwar reproductions.
Cheers
Doug
Hi Doug,
I had a good feeling you were busy at work.
What are your thought on these reproduction decals? High end "crushed glass" type?
regards
Samir

No, a Q fake and just a rather poor party decal. The crushed glass is a Pocher copy.

I'm not sure the about the Helmet itself to be honest, the rolled edge on the visor looks very inferior in its manufacture, but as always just my thoughts.

I have learned from restoring projects, that M35 helmet skirts, maybe others also, is far from perfect. When sanding down the filler on relic lids, one can fell that they are far from perfectly round. One can actually almost feel the different processes the helmets have went through in the pressing. You can learn a lot about them doing this.
