You know Doug, that could very well be what happend; besides, the RSHA procured Walther PPs and PPKs by contract, including serial number lists from the factory-- why not insignia and other accoutrements as well? Nice discussion--this is the kind of forum I like!

That's a killer Kelly. There has to be a relationship between this and an SD contract in a similar fashion to the VT decal / VT and the FR / LAH and what I presume to be the PB. The Austrian variant is VT / DF or perhaps TK / Elbe?
