I'll post the link. It's a cool way to research feldpost numbers.

The decal looks somewhat convincing to me. I'm leaning towards the decal might be good. The helmet is a reissue, and I can see the remnants of what might be another SS decal underneath the present one. Best wait for Doug in my opinion.

Hi Corey, There are so many problems with the decal - it was applied over rust pitting, the pulver, or rather the lack of it, is obvious, the graphics, the composition... It is crucial to study because the fakers will bleed you white if you don't. We should all pick up the Hicks and Niewiarowicz books and read them cover to cover, go to shows to see real, AND FAKE, helmets, to become familiar with the look, smell and feel of them. Building up your knowledge base is the best defense to the parasites who will rob you blind if you allow you emotions to overshadow your rational analytical thought processes. Well, I guess I've vented enough. Good night all, Jim G.

Thanks Paul. For some reason the output doesn't come through on iPad. I've made a thread on how to find feldpost numbers.
