M42 Police helmet with SS runic decal, real or fake??

A good friend of mine purchased the below M42 Police helmet with SS runic decal from the spanish site Antiguedades, arte y coleccionismo I'm not at all an expert, however I have doubts concerning its authenticity. I will very much appreciate the expertise of the Forum members. As much as I know there are some reported examples of real Police helmets with runic decals, but they are quite rare...

In your wise opinion is it good or another fake?

You know there's lots of collectors out there that are on a strict budget. This is a helmet that would have fit someones collection nicely, but no, someone had to screw with it for that extra dollar. They didn't give a sh*t about preserving history. It's just amazing how far some people would go.

Sorry, a bad ET type SS decal on an EF helmet. Also I do not like the police decal one bit, the detail on the adlers chest is particularly poor. Leon.

Jose, post before $ is laid down unless you know the genre of what your looking for down cold. In the case of SS helmets for every 100 posted, 1 is real. Maybe.
