my ss helmet, is it real any info please.

Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum and website.
I recently came across this helmet and i would like to know if it is the real deal.
i have been checking this website and sites like thecollectorsguild for a couple of days now and it looks like the real deal.
i do not know if the pictures are complete clear so some extra info
the marking on the strap is 'wilhelm ellers jr. bielefeld 1942
the marking on the inside of the back helmet is
dkp or kp and below it a 4
it is pretty hard to see though.

Please any information please.


If anyone can help me i will be posting more pictures of 3 different ss caps and also a lot of medals including a ritterkreuz.

Matje, this is not a real SS helmet. Next time you post please only post clear in focus pictures, it is useless otherwise.
Also this helmet is not for sale on Collectors Guild, just to clarify. All the SS helmets for sale on the Guild are authentic.

Doug, I think he meant that he has been checking sites like the Collectors Guild, not that it is for sale there.

You're right . I did mean ckecking websites like the collectors guild.
Too bad it is not original, i received a large collection of ww2 german stuff. A friends grandfather died and left him all this stuff. He was not interested so he gave me all the stuff.
I think i will post more on this forum to have it also checked out.
