The decal itself was not even trimmed from the transfer sheet. This is an easily spotted amateur move. I too have seen these at gun shows and militaria shows for about 75 US. NH

Good old C J is now imparting his wisdom on the link I supplied in post # 8. Quote:

A one looker repro that is bad to the bone. Hope you can get a refund as it has no value to collectors of historic items.
Steve
When the OP posted this earlier today on one of the facebook military collectors groups he became quite belligerent when he was informed it was a repo through and through and got him self banned in just a few minutes very bad form in my opinion Filip Bernatowicz

Don't worry, C.J. Campbell will tell him what he wants to hear.

One of the indian made copies......
" I'm putting off procrastination until next week "
Liar. He posted this helmet on youtube as an original. Even if this was real, he wouldn't understand how to handle it.
40 seconds into the video he picks the helmet up with one hand and puts it down with a loud thump. Hopefully this "man" doesn't ever come in contact with any real SS helmets, or any original TR things at all.
"I got this helmet today in a military shop, I identified as an original German M18 that has been re-worked into a cut-out. The paint and decal are both fake. For Cj Campbell"
He left this in the description box of the youtube video. Please see the link above me to go to the youtube video in which he lies. When he uploaded, he had stated that the paint and decal were BOTH original, and I truly don't understand how that can be an "auto correct" on his phone.
Warm Regards,
Justin
