    It does not appear to be a relic, though it does look like it was repainted very recently and all that implies for the decals.

    Correct Jerry it looks like this one will still smell of fresh paint !!

    Hi,sorry but this helmet is a very poor effort(unless you are a re-enactor).The decals are poor fakes and the helmet is painted in a terrible colour. Leon.

    is this a WG Border Guard lid?
    It's either the picture/lighting or are those vent holes huge? I looks a lot like the design & color of mine (the color may be correct for the period guard helmets).
