Question on SS helmet

Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum and was wondering if anyone can answer a question for me. I have what I believe is a m1918 cutout helmet with an aluminum banded liner, black paint and early SS runes which are partially scratched off but still legible. I believe it dates to the '34-'36 period of the SS maybe SS-VT. I will take some pictures tonight to add to my post. If this is the wrong area to post, could someone please direct me to the proper spot.

Can't say I have ever seen an early SS cutout lid. Please do start a thread with good pics
