Single Decal SS helmet I obtained.

Single Decal. ET66. Named "Rudolph" but the first letter is the Prinz Eugen Rune? Captured in France. Comes from the same SS hoard I have obtained all my SS collar tabs from. Will be moving shortly, so it will probably end up for sale.

Looks great to me, nice lid. It sits comfortably in a block of other SD SS lot numbers in the GHW database too.

They were gebrigs soldiers fighting in the east against partisans n the soviets.

Bear in mind the runic alphabet was promoted within the SS. Think of the Honour Ring. I doubt any connection with the Division given the location. The correct name for the "R" rune is Raido.

Actually, it is the Odal rune.

I believe it is the same rune used for the Race & resettlement office as well as Prinz Eugen, though could be just the letter "R" in the last name written uniquely. Can we see the decal please?

Hi , this looks a very nice ET helmet from here, I could even "blow" this image up and try not make a mistake unlike the one I looked at the other day(whoops)! As said though a nice straight on shot of the decal would be good. Thanks for showing it. Leon.
