Samir, that's why I said there's no sawtoothing. But remember these photos are 10 times better than the photos typically provided in the "is it real" threads, and sawtoothing "effect" is common when pictures pixelate, which depends on your monitor resolution, screen size, image size, and picture resolution, etc. So it's also a lesson in being careful when judging.

No, the answers are all there for the naked eye to see, the unfair advantage is I've owned at least 40 or more Pocher decaled Helmets and handled a lot more including a bazillion fakes. ;-)

That's coming next with ET SS decals. There are some damn good fakes of those, graphically 100% accurate.

I hate to be the one to say this, but I think 23 people were just guessing on this quiz. If the fakes are really this good, example being the ET decals that are 100% graphically correct, how can one successfully identify them! Is there some secret red flag to look for, or does it just take experience?

Corey, for me its either a 20X loupe or ADM magnified 200X. I use my scope at least once a week, studying n comparing other decals. And for ones I havent had the chance to get under the scope, I just use the search on GHW to dig up what others have magnified using ADM.

Corey, experience is really huge, but there are tiny tricks to look for, some which will be a tad more obvious when the big reveal takes place tomorrow! I will probably do it right before lunch or after work and I'm on MST. And no Samir I haven't voted lol.

This week i'm studying an unapplied party shield usually found on Police or double decal SS helmets.

I stand corrected Good Sir...
It really looks like the helmet/decal in number three had
some fake wear and ageing done to it.. Like I stated before
Im no expert in the SS field, and these decals are just way
too good of reproductions.. Number three just looked too over done to me..
I cant wait for the results here..
