Hi,
WW2 German Helmet Cover | eBay
Is this item he also sells a reproduction? I'm pretty sure it is but I could do with an opinion.

Thanks Matt, that's a bad fake cover. Wrong material, clips, pattern. Another helpful hint, for new items it's always best to start a new thread for more responses. I'll split these up.

Hello Matt
Some fool who doesn't bother to research his purchases will receive this in the mail , write a glowing review for
the seller in Ebay feedback , & thus keep the cycle going.

Brett
Hi,
Yeah its unfortunate, the guys got 100% positive feedback, I think the listing ended prematurely so ebay may have removed it, but you're right, there's people out there willing to pay over £60 for something thats pretty rare without even researching it first
Regards Matt
There are better quality repros that sell for over $50, and there are
also Chinese repros that sell for $30. I believe this one
was from China.........

Steve.
Hi,
I've just got in touch with a guy who sold the seller a helmet cover in the past and he was able to identify it 100% as the one he'd sold him, it was purchased from a film company supplier but the fabric wasn't up to their standards hence he sold it on. It proves the seller is knowingly selling on repro items as originals, the seller goes by the name '723engla' on ebay and I'd advise anyone to stay well clear of them

I have been reading up on SS camo lid covers. I still have very little experience with these covers, and I would love to have one in my collection! Can't wait to get my first real one.
