I was leaning towards bad Ned but didn't want to nail it down as I wasn't absolutely sure. Graphically it's not far off an ET and ckl M42 SS lids are pretty common. Having now compared it to a few other ckl m42's I definitely agree. Samir knows his onions and I trust in his opinion here. I wouldn't have bought it based on that pic.by big ned
I think you are giving this helmet far more credence than it's worth, but you're a helmet guy and i'm not, so looking forward to the other replies. Personally, on this single view it appears, with it's repetitive chipping of the decal, a huge steaming turd to me.......

Also agree that the classifieds should be for established members only, it certainly can't do any harm.
As SSamir quite rightly points out, this decal is a one look stinker. I also agree that the classifieds should also only be available to Gold club members. Leon.
The price alone is a red flag by itself. Had this been the real deal I would have scooped it up in a heartbeat.

I still want to see closer images and have you guys comment. Then I will bring the thread to the sellers attention and delete the ad. Hopefully, this thread will be useful to others in the future.
