    I found this:

Is this original? If it is, it's much worth i suppose

Ixus just a quick heads up and please take this the right way. You've just posted THE worst thread in the universe. A fake so bad that 1 microsecond of research would answer the question and of course the requisite "how much is it worth" is just the icing on the cake of How to write a terrible thread in 1 step.

Please do yourself a favour and peruse the pinned threads in this section.

    Cheers

The thing that is really sad is that this thread has so far run to 3 pages discussing (or rather dissing?) a piece of shoite that if it were any other article related to TR collecting on this forum, would have been put to bed in 2 or 3 posts tops. Finito. Yet where helmets are concerned, collectors seem to go on ad infinitum regurgitating the same trite comments over and over again. And so it shall be the next time this week that another worthless piece of crap is posted here.

Why does this occur? And always in this particular part of TR collecting? Am I missing some deeper cause or reason? Don't get me wrong fella's, but the above posted quote by Doug is the only really meaningful comment on the entire thread, that's it, it's dead.....Until someone else chimes in later with "Just for good measure, the paint is post war applied..." or "Obvious fake, won't fool anyone...".

For heavens sake WHY?? What's the POINT??

BTW, I am laughing as I type this, but I shouldn't really as it's actually pretty sad......

    I am now taking cover....

i don't think its a fake fake, so it must be a real fake. But there is a slight chance the faker faked a fake fake thinking that any faker finking of faking a fake that looked so fake would say... 'its not real.'
    "what the fake "?

OK, pass. I believed you that is fake long time ago ; )
blondi - that junk it's on auction for 30$ now and 10h to finish.
I don't have ANY experience in how original helmet should look (one of the first I've seen to buy), that's the reason i post here.
    Thread can be closed.
