SS Helmet, real decals?

Complete fake including the domestamp and camo and probably liner as well but not enough shown to tell. Value is that of the shell less the cost of your time to remove all the postwar paint and decals.

Unless you know what to look for in the complex world of a real SS decal and camo paint it is difficult - the SS decal does not have the graphic or print charachteristics of a real Pocher decal, typically a wrong decal to shell combination, and contrived post war wear on the post war painted helmet. Dome stamp, same as the SS decal, totally incorrect. Cheers.

This was discussed on a Norwegian forum as well, the starting price was 1500 NOK(About 261 $, 196 euros or 164 pounds to be exact).

The price is a dead give away.....that type would go for a few thousand.....a fair dinkum one that is!!!
