I guess it depends on whether the decals have been completely scratched off or there are still remnants of them. The one that sold on the WAF was a good one but there was very little left of the decals, you must remember the one I am referring to? It was on estand for a few months

I agree. I have the same attitude and willing to pay more, but most collectors don't feel that way. Most collectors will not pay a penny more for it than they would an average no decal one. Like I said earlier, the decal will make or break the deal.

Tarvin please post photos when referencing specific items. It's impossible to get anything definitive without photos of the helmets you want to discuss.
Re;price it's a topic best left avoided. There is no retail price list for SS helmets. It's what a buyer is willing to pay or a seller willing to sell for or some point in between.

You are a gentleman Samir. It's on my Dachau Q SS researched helmet that I originally bought without a strap and is the kind of helmet (SS Q's dated 37-39 camp helmet) that these straps seem to be found on. I was looking at it yesterday as a matter of fact.
