SS helmet with scratch out emblems

what´s your opinions on this SS helmet with damaged emblems, it´s WWII original, or very good renovation?

I know.. .get a helmet make a few scratches where the decal could have been and sell it as an SS. ... . No..... its just a ruined ex DD. ...... ND helmet IMO

sorry, what means shortcut ND?
Yes I agree with your opinion with fake scratches on typical places, but the decal of SS is a bit visible here under scratches!? And colour seems to be original "apfelgrün" type.
So any opinions guys?

It's an NS maker so it never was an SS to begin with.
Ex Heer or Polizei.
