The outside looks that good but the inside looks that bad. That alone makes me suspicious. Much better and closer pics are needed.

Better pics are needed. In and outside look very different. The helmet could of course have been stored in a barn or something, upside down,

Hi Mark,

Hard to say much other than to echo what the others have posted. Rough as anything on the inside, yet the decal survives in good condition and even allowing for the fact that SS decals had a preservative in them, it looks unlikely.

As is often the case, good pics are needed for good opinions.

I can only agree with my fellow members above, need better pics but as with the FJ lid, things don't seem to add up

Can only agree with everyone else and if they can't supply better pics .....then there must be a reason....tread carefully.
