    I had a chance today look at this helmet and wondered to the pretty strange damage, the bulet in many cases would riсochet from this helmet, but here is bullet made a hole and has leave a long trace inside of the helmet. The helmet is being sale on the foum sponsors site.

    Bullets do some pretty strange things when they hit a helmet.

    What your seeing is the result of a condition called spalling, the round has entered from the side rear and seperated upon impact most of the round has entered the helmet but a fragment has remained outside and skimmed the front area, not exactly a richochet

    Spalling. I did not know there is a name for that.
