The decals are a big red flag for me. There are at least 2 replaced rivets on the liner. I suspect this was an honest relics that has been siegruned up.

my assessment is this is a lake find. I have seen the bubbling before and it all sits well to my eyes. The early M35's had brass pins that lost their paint easily ( or in the cleaning process ) but I say again, it is way too expensive.

I'm with Dan i have seen decals many times in this bubbled condition , the lid is genuine and the good thing is the sellers are totally honest and reliable and are some of the most experienced guys i know in handling Relic helmets .They have seen and handled hundreds over the years.

Looks ok to me and the decals look the same as this SS helmet that was ground found in Northern Finland a couple of years ago
Now THAT would be a good candidate for an oxalic treatment!!
