Hi, there is a few pieces of writing on liner, some of which is almost invisible to the naked eye
I'm away from home so unfortunately only have imaged stored on my phone
Will post after dinner..As for TK I'm pretty sure it was painted over to cammo it
As there is crazing to the green paint that's on right of TK
can anyone give opinion on white stripes please..tactical markings ??
    Cheers
I'm not familiar with that tactical sign. Tactical signs on motorcycles were also painted on the fenders as well. I do agree the plate you have came off the back of the side car. I have seen this in period photos. I'm excited to these relics as they were from the battle of Demjansk pocket. Totenkopf fought to the death in that battle nearly losing 80% of its men. I respect them for that. Man, i'm just as excited as Doug was when he saw that mirror type SS decal!

Interesting. Can't wait to hear from Dimas. You say these items were recovered in 2006?

Hi. No my helmet, boots and TK were recovered about 10 years ago approx
The helmet hoard and fendor was in 2006 I believe
Dumas had several of the helmets for sale
But not from same area as my helmet, boots
Not sure where motorcycle sidecar was exactly found

Hardly make out the whats going on in the first pic. I do agree there are two different handwritings. Nevertheless, an interesting piece.
