That is just disgraceful,i fail to see how this guys reputation will last acting like that.I certainly would not touch any of his gear in the future if i had been dealing with him!

Where is it for sale?
I think a member posted it here or GHW but its surfaced from the same seller with a new vet story and missing the 2, scratched off to look like damage. It's a dealer in militaria doing it, a real unscrupulous jerk.
I remember this one from GHW a couple of year back.
Not one that is easy to forget that's for sure.
Brad.
The one that started this thread was an M40, the one one the site now still has the "2", and is an M42. Amazing that this dealer was able to find TWO "original SS-2" helmets. If I didn't know better, I would think he was making them!
There were at least two that i know of circulating 12 years ago , maybe more !!

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings
Thats two to many,i hope the "honest dealers" who are peddling this c*** still hold them in there stock.I would hate to think somebody spent a penny on what they thought was a super rare(ho,ho,ho)SS helmet!
