the helmet is found in the netherlands region amersfoort,if its ww2 who wears this helmet ?

Hi Jos, these were made from 1934. Only made in the 1930's.

Your example was worn by a member of the SS. Many of these were worn by the SD (sicherheitsdienst)

Very rare lid indeed! Pochers appear to have been defaced. I wonder what the number "763" was for. Congrads on your SS find.

Otherwise known as M34 medium duty helmet, not great condition but pretty rare
