Two ss Relic Helmets

Hello
I just recieved two ss relic helmets and was wondering what should be done to preserve them. The metal is solid but im worried about protecting them. I will add pictures tomorrow in better light.

Until we can see the extent of corrosion theres not a lot that can be offered in the way of advice, wait for the pics

No problem its just that its dark here now but tomorrow in the natural daylight I can take good pictures

The second helmet heavily damaged by some sort of explosion

I think this is best left to the SS lid guys, to me it looks like a round bottom decal but it might be the corrosion causing the look, wait for more opinions

Do have any ideas on how to store them though? I wouldnt want to loose them to decay.

Store them in a dry place free from humidity or any other dampness. They are not in that bad shape as relic helmets go. I have three myself. As long as they stay dry you can keep them for life.

i would advice you ask Dima about what to do,how to clean and preserve.Mauby even send to him those helmets and let him to do that.And you will never regret that
