Waffen SS M18 Helmet Authentic?

Hello,

I was looking at buying this helmet for around 470 USD.

Although from being burnt in the past I wanted to upload it for a second opinion.

Not authentic. It is a humped up repro. The RZM stamp should be a dead give away, it is an M16 shell, not a commercial M18 style authentic RZM shell. The decals and black paint are bad as well. Save your money unless you want it as a shelf filler or a reenactment piece. Jim G.

Not a cats chance! Even "old ladies" no longer sell genuine SS helmets for $470! A poor attempt with fake Pocher style decals. Leon.

I think I posted about this one some months back - it is obviously still out there. Was it Trespuentes/Kaspian that was selling it? If so, I think it is our buddy Pavel.
