I've been wanting one of these for a while now, finally got around to it. Next on the list is an EK1 Spange. (And the list keeps on getting longer, not shorter. Go figure!)

I don't think there is a marking on the back, but don't want to pull the ribbon loose because I'd have to bend the prongs, and that sends shivers of fear up and down my spine . . .

    Supposed to be a 'B.H. Mayer' . . .

Thanks, Nick. I was reasonably certain it was OK. I'd love to see the back of it, but don't want to break a pin or tear a ribbon to do so.

    Very nice Roger!
I just bought one last night as well. What you may be able to do is to get your best glasses on and with lots of light, gently lift the ribbon with something not sharp, and peek in from the side to see if you are able to see the marks.

Thanks, Ralph! I will have to give that a try. Or if I can find it, I'll try using our otoscope.
