MAP - I also wanted to point out that you are correct that Black Light is not foolproof. You can show that something is likely a reproduction if it does glow, but you can't rule it out if it does not. I have a known reproduction ribbon attached to my authentic Italienisch/Deutscher Feldzug In Afrika medal and it does not glow.
