Default 1939 Spange zum Eisernen Kreuzes 1er Klasse 1914, B.H. Mayer.

A recent addition to my spange collection.
This example is attributed to Otto Schickle.
To my Knowledge, the spange is exactly like that of a type A, B.H. Mayer spange, but the hardware is all Schickle.
This example still retains almost all of it's silver frosting.

    Thanks for your comments guys!
I was surprised by the amount of frosting still on this one, considering it is a relatively early one.
Jim, I have a combination of 21, 1st and 2nd class spange now. I will update this thread soon.

Yes, they can. It also depends on the maker and rarity.

I have learned that this is actually a B.H. Mayer spange sporting Schickle hardware.
I will amend the title so that future searches do not hold any incorrect information.
