Article about: The guy I got the spangen from called and I traded them off for these. Boy I hope that these are real. Both are multi piece construction. Wound badge is not marked I can see. Where are they

    I can't see anything wrong with anything here Doug. I would like better pics of the EK1 to be sure but it all looks good from these photos. The cockade is for a Kriegsmarine Schirmmütze.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    The EK2 is a Klein & Quenzer EK2 and the rest look original as well.

    Looks OK Doug, the Imperial guys will be able to confirm. It's marked '800' for the silver content under the catch I can see, is there anything else there?

    It could be the light, but the core dose look repainted. The hole thing looks rather good. The core paint is the only thing in question for me.

    I think the core looks fine. Not repainted in my eyes.
