Article about: They started with an original EKII, clumsy work but who knows the circumstances. Historic'ly interesting. I would guess the grinding down to highlight the swastika is recent.

    Yep! Nick is bang on as usual, the frame and dates are not from a '75' made cross and that awful beading and workmanship can only be a '55'!

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    I understand any concerns about the copper post but it was clearly soldered before the rust appeared it looks like the heat took off the paint then rust started to appear on the iron core.
