Case is rough but it is mine.

Article about: 1st class. Marked L53 on pin. Can't get a photo of mark. Camera does not have macro lens capability. L 53 is Hymmen & Co. Ludenscheid. Comments welcome.

    Hi Steve, sorry to question it, but are you sure it is a Hymenn?

    I have never seen one marked on the pin also I cant see the tademark grooves in the beading. Maybe it is just the photos.
    Have a look at my example

    The dates are different too.....

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    Hi Steve,
    No concerns, just an observation the date numerals are different from Nick's example. I don't know if it's possible to find variant core designs in Hymmen crosses or not. Any chance of some better shots in natural light when possible?

    Here we go guys.
    The close up photo of the beading. It is as close as I can get.
    The stamp on the back of the pin is elusive at best after fiddling with this damned camera this is the best image that I can get on the mark on the back of the pin. I absolutly cannot read the stamp on the top.
    There is a good possibility that it may not be L53. My eyes are not what they use to be.

    Hi Steve

    Thanks for the extra pics.

    I am sure its not a Hymenn. Maybe a F Zimmermann or an Orth ? I will have to consult my 'bible' again.
