Oh god, now i have buyers remorese!

well how much would mine be worth actually? and is it authentic? is it a kriegsmarine EK?

Thanks for youe help. and by the way, do you think this is a good deal? Third Reich NSDAP Membership Badge from Luckylukeonline

and do you think this is an authentic first edition? one of only 500 ever made? super rare original 1925 first edition copy of Adolf Hitlers Mein Kampf if so do you think its reasonably priced? i am thinking of buying it. What do you reckon?
In the condition this cross is in I would bypass it completely and look for better. For you $300 you could've bought an EK1, and EK2 and still had change for a beer to celebrate.

I probably wouldn't value even as high as youth collector. The repaint is very obvious because it is so poorly done. The non magnetic Kriegsmarine 'myth' has been proved false on many occasions. Kriegsmarine personnel were awarded magnetic and non magnetic EKs with no distinction according to the branch or service. In fact I started a thread a couple of years ago showing a magnetic EK1 belonging to another collector which was awarded to a sailor and was also magnetic. This came with direct provenance that the cross did belong to the sailor.

If you want to inquire about any future purchases, you will need to ask in the correct forums. There are separate places for party badges and for paper items such as books. If you post in the other forums, collector who are specialist in those areas will be able to help, not every member checks out every sub forum.

You will also need to copy the photos and attach them to you thread. Links to items die when the piece gets sold and anyone in the future wanting to research something won't be able to see what the thread is about and therefore it becomes useless.
Copy, attach to the thread and then the images will be here for posterity and to help others.

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

I love the $3500 Mein Kampf that somebody used for a beer coaster at one time... ;-) The very large ring looks like it could easily be one of those big German steins, so definitely a period stain?

    Steins that leave stains..
