Eisernes Kreuz 1st Class 1939 by Paul Meybauer, Berlin.

Article about: Hi Guys, here we have two EKI's by the same manufacturer, Paul Meybauer, Berlin. I find EK's very difficult to photograph, so please excuse the less than perfect pics. The first one shown is

    Hi Fabri, you have a good eye. The core is indeed repainted. I know as I did it many years ago! When it got it about 20 years ago some idiot had partly stripped the original paint off and very badly repainted it. So I took this horrible paint off. It is the usual 3 part construction.

    Dimensions are same or it 's just the pic ? about the stamp maybe I had no a good eye, have you chance to make a close-up ?

    Hi Fabri, yes the sizes are the same but the pic does make one look bigger!
