Eisernes Kreuz 2. klasse 'Lug variant'

Here is a Juncker look-alike, also called Lug variant by some. The maker is still unknown.

A good quality cross IMO, a pitty there is a rust spot near the swas though.

Interesting cross Ingrid, thank you for posting. On the top left outer corner looking from the front, it that a scratch or a mis-stamp/die flaw?

There is a 'lug' on top of the frame that the suspension ring attaches to. Several other makers have one of these, Wachtler & Lange, Juncker to name the most common but all the other 'lug' crosses can be identified to makers. This one cannot.
