    What do you think of this Iron Cross? Fake or original, and if genuine, Could you provide me with more details if possible, makers, et cetera.

    I am going to go out on a limb and say it doesn't look authentic to me. The "wear" resembles manipulation by sanding or grinding. it just doesn't look real. Do not take my word though. Maybe someone will be along with better knowledge of these pieces. Good luck!

    Based on these bad photo's I think it's a fake, an one piece construction. It is also in terrible condition. Just my opinion but I wouldn't waste any money on it.

    I basically agree with most of this statement.
    It appears that all of the corners have been beat up so as not to be able to identify the maker. Not sure if it is a one piece or not but there is really no collectible value in this EK.

    The core should generally be iron too and I see no rust where the paint has been removed.
