Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse original?

Article about: Hello, I have come across this unmarked EK2 and would like others opinions on it as I'm unsure what to look for...from what I have seen it looks ok...but as always any help would be good...T

    Hard for me to say for sure with all that crappy paint that someone's applied to the cross...can you see an outer seam where the silver frames come together?

    An original F Zimmermann '6' with original paint which is flaking off.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
