Unfortunately yours is a fake. It is made in one piece and as Steve points out there is a casting seam which should not be mistaken for a join between two halves of the frames, or at best it was made in two halves and then stuck together.
The material is wrong, the finishing is very bad. The ribbon is also a modern made reproduction.

Possibly cast from an original EK. Out of curiosity, what are the dimensions edge to edge?
