    Hi guys,

I need help to identify whether of not this EK 11 is real or fake. No maker marks; it is magnetic in the middle and the ribbon doesn't shine under UV light. I can also slide a piece of paper between the cross and the frame. I bought it at a dealer fair this morning.

Thanks harryamb2, I always appreciate your advice, there are some many of these things out there that are fake.

    Hi guys,

These are not EK 11's, they are EK II's or Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse.
The numbers used when talking about them are important.
Have patience, someone will be able to tell you who the maker is or if it is not original.
