    Hi,

I have been looking for a Steinhauer & Lück L/16 cross for some time now and finally I found one.

Just want to confirm the authenticity here on the forum.

I cannot see any problems with it.

    Thanks
    /Jonas

    Hi Jonas
It looks good to me although there are those better experienced than me to authenticate it. I have a marked (4) Steinhauer & Lück in my collection and can post pics to compare if you would like.

Hi Ken, thanks for the input. I have a "4" marked S&L cross, so the cross should be fine. It is more the L/16 mark, if it is original or added to an unmarked S&L cross.

    Hello Jonas,
I am a little confused, if the cross is fine, how can it be determined if it was added to a correct cross?
Have you compared it to the data base on GCA?

    Ralph.
What I mean is if someone used an original unmarked S&L cross and put an L/16 stamp on it to boost the price.

So I wanted to get opinion on the authenticity if this is an genuine L/16 marked cross.

Yes, I have compared on GCA and to me it looks ok.
